Role

Our client are a leading Consultancy operating in the pharmaceutical industry.

Due to business wins they have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in the North East area of England, on a permanent (staff) basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead complex projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to stringent regulatory standards and driving successful outcomes.

In order to apply you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or other Project Management accreditation.
  • Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on EPCM projects within the pharmaceutical / scientific industry.
  • Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from basic design to commissioning & turn-over, in highly regulated industries, emphasising schedule, budget, and quality management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including project scheduling, risk management, and change control.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills under pressure, managing competing priorities effectively.
